50 percent of applicants to Minot State University were admitted for fall 2018

At Minot State University, 75 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Minot enrolled 3,189 students in fall 2018, including 2,915 in undergraduate and 274 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

67 percent of undergraduates are residents of North Dakota, and 24 percent are residents of other states. 9 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (69 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (7 percent).

The school admitted 50 percent of the 1,040 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 76 percent enrolled.
