There is a man calling residents of Dunn County claiming that he is “Detective McCow” with the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office and that they or someone they know has a warrant out for their arrest. He is having these people go to Cash Wise in Dickinson to the “Coin Me” or “Coin Star” machine to pay the bond for this warrant. DO NOT DO THIS! THIS IS A SCAM! We do not have anyone by that name employed by the Dunn Co Sheriff’s Office and we would never call you and ask for you to go to Cash Wise to pay the bond. If this has happened to you or someone you know please call dispatch at 1-800-472-2121 to be put in touch with a deputy.
