Corporal Carney (AKA Ricci Bobbie) and I had a great time helping with the awards presentations at the Killdeer Grade School a few weeks ago. The AAA Safety Patrol awards were given to students who participated in the AAA Safety Patrol (AKA PAW Patrol) program and the Cowboy Pride awards went to students who were identified by staff members as being polite, kind and always willing to help out when needed.We spent time with the AAA Safety Patrol last Christmas shopping for gifts for struggling families with money raised by the AAA Safety Patrol who believe every kid should get a toy for Christmas.We want to give a special thanks to Mrs. Carney for inviting us and it was an honor presenting the awards to such a great group of kids. We loved the awards given to us and hope the AAA Safety Patrol like their new companions we gave to them.
