On Saturday, March 1, former Minot High School standout Braden Nelson’s current college team, the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Ashland Eagles.

The game took place at UT Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 3 at 6 p.m. at UT Baseball Field against Tampa Spartans.
