Since its introduction in the NEC in the 1970s, GFCIs have saved thousands of lives. The winner of the 2022 Philip J. DiNenno Prize, Electrical Shock Hazard Protection by Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) Protection, was the subject of discussion at a Monday morning panel session at #NFPAConf22.
