The Dunn County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Injured Military Wildlife

The Dunn County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Injured Military Wildlife Project of North Dakota for donating elk meat to give out to our community.

They are a local organization who have made it their mission to give back to the Veterans in our community and especially those who were injured during their time of service.

Their contributions to our Stark County and Dunn County Veterans have been immeasurable and we are humbled that they have included us in their mission.

As part of a pilot program, they have donated fully processed elk meat to the Stark County Sheriff's Office, Dickinson City Fire Department and Dunn County Sheriff's Office to give to members of our community who could use a little help with their grocery expenses.

If you live in Dunn County and are in need of some elk meat to help you through the long winter, please call Sheriff Kuhn at 701-690-3859 or you can e-mail me at gary.kuhn@dunncountynd.org.

You do not have to be a veteran to participate in this program so if you are struggling with the high costs of everything give us a call.

We would like to offer a special thanks to Dunn County residents Roger Kdramas and our own Dunn County Clerk of Courts Lisa Guenther who are pictured below.

They are both board members for the Injured Military Wildlife Project of North Dakota and we thank you and all of the board members for their dedication and support of our Veterans and our community.
