Mobile Home Damaged by Fire Early

A mobile home caught fire in the Woodridge Mobile Home Park early Friday morning, but no one was injured in the incident. Fire units were dispatched to 405 31st Ave SE #98 at 1:41 a.m. for a report of a mobile home fire. Crews quickly assessed the situation and found fire on the underside of the structure in addition to heavy smoke. One fire crew worked on extinguishing the exterior fire, while another crew entered the mobile home to extinguish the fire that burned through the floor from the underside of the structure. The homeowner exited the structure prior to the Fire Department’s arrival. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Three fire engines, one ladder truck, and one command vehicle were dispatched to the fire.
