Census Bureau: 63.8% of people in Benson County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 6,090 citizens living in Benson County in 2021, 63.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 3,886 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 1,985 were male, constituting 51.1%, and 1,901 were female, making up 48.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Benson County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.1%.
