4% of Bottineau County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Bottineau County recorded an unemployment rate of 4% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 129 people out of the 6,442 living in Bottineau County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Bottineau County has increased compared to the 3.6% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Bottineau County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.1%.

Of the 3,104 people who had a job during that time, 17 were employed in the Armed Forces and 3,087 belonged to the civilian labor force.
