On July 7, 2025, Senator Cramer discussed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act with North Dakota energy stakeholders. He emphasized that "the energy provisions in the bill give North Dakota the opportunity to continue paving the way for energy security and dominance."

The following day, on July 8, 2025, he expressed gratitude towards President Biden for enhancing agricultural representation in national security discussions by appointing Secretary Rollins to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). Cramer highlighted a recent incident involving China's attempt to purchase farmland near Grand Forks as underscoring "the need to make our food supply chains secure."
