FAA awards over $660,000 for airport improvements in North Dakota

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has allocated $662,696 in funding to support airport infrastructure projects at several locations across North Dakota. The funds are provided through the Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) program, part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

According to the announcement, Harvey Municipal Airport Authority will receive $363,000 for building a 5,625 square foot hangar intended for aircraft storage. Stanley Municipal Airport Authority is set to get $209,446 to expand its existing West Apron by 778 square yards. Hillsboro Municipal Airport Authority will obtain $90,250 for constructing an 11,250 square foot hangar dedicated to aircraft storage.

The AIG Program was created under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to help airports with modernization and safety upgrades. Since its launch, more than $50 million in AIG funding has been distributed to airports throughout North Dakota.
