DOT awards over $9 million to North Dakota for emergency roadway repairs

The U.S. Department of Transportation has granted more than $9 million to the North Dakota Department of Transportation for roadway repairs. The funding, totaling $9,413,942, comes from the Federal Highway Administration’s Emergency Relief Program. This program supports the repair of roads, bridges, and other infrastructure that have been damaged by natural disasters like flooding.

According to the DOT, these grants are intended to help states restore transportation systems that have been affected by such events.
